ReadMe_E.txt Driver File Contents (VS2000_20wavconv.zip)

This CD-ROM contains a software (VS-2000 Wave Converter) which works
to convert data of VS-2000 to/from AIFF file and owner's manual in PFD format. 

<About the installation>

If you are using Windows 2000/XP, you must log on using a user name with an
administrative account type (e.g., Administrator). For details on user accounts,
please consult the system administrator of your computer.

1. Set CD-ROM on the CD-ROM drive

	Set the "VS-2000 Wave Converter" CD-ROM on the CD-ROM drive
	of your computer. Few seconds after loading the CD-ROM, open CD-ROM
	from "My Computer"to show contents of CD-ROM.

2.Doble Click "Setup.exe"

	Double click the icon of "Setup.exe". A screen to confirm your agreement to 
	copyright will appear. Click "Agree" and then click [OK] button.
	The installation of this software will start.

About operation of this software, please refer the attached owner's manual in PDF format.

* Although Roland has tested numerous configurations, and has determined 
that on average, a computer system similar to that described above will permit 
normal operation of the VS-2000 Wave Converter, Roland cannot guarantee 
that a given computer can be used satisfactorily with the VS-2000 Wave Converter, 
based solely on the fact that it meets the above requirements. This is because there 
are too many other variables that may influence the processing environment, including 
differences in motherboard design and the particular combination of other devices involved.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
