**Updating the VS-1880 with a Zip(tm) disk** Use the following procedure to update the system of the VS-1880. The updated software is provided as a single file titled "vs1880.prg." The tools required are: *IBM compatible computer with SCSI card *SCSI Zip Drive *SCSI Cable *VS-1880 *VS-1880 System Update File Update Procedure 1) Connect the Zip drive to the computer and copy the file "vs1880.prg" to a Zip disk that has been formatted by the VS-1880. 2) With the power off, connect the Zip drive to the VS-1880 via the SCSI port. 3) Insert the Zip disk with the update file into the Zip drive and power on the Zip drive. 4) Power on the VS-1880. After a short time, the screen will display "Update Sysprog?" 5) Press YES. 6) The message "Please Reboot OK" will be displayed. The system software of the VS-1680 has now been updated. 7) Restart the VS-1880 (power off and then on again). After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
