Windows 2000 TNT OpenGL  ICD Patch

Installation instructions.

Simply unzip the w2ktnt.zip file to a temp direstory. Copy the nv4.inf file to your WinNT/INF directory. Allow it to over write the existing INF file. Then go to Control Panel\System\Hardware\Device Manager\Display Adapters\(what ever TNT/TNT2 card you are using). Right click on your card then choose Properties. Click the Driver Tab. Then choose Update Driver. Click "Next" then "Display a list of known drivers for this device so that I can choose a specific driver". Then choose "Show all hardware for this device". Find your type TNT/TNT2 video card. When you find it, simply highlight it and click "Next". When it ask for the nvoglnt,dll file, direct it to the Temp directory where you unzipped the w2ktnt.zip file. Then click OK then OK again then that will do it. W2K will want to reboot. Go ahead. When you come back you should have full OpenGL support to go along with the D3D.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
