# Windows 2000 display drivers Installation:
1. Click "My Computer".
2. Click mouse right button to enter the "Properties".
3. Click "Hardware".
4. Click "Device Manager".
5. Click "Other devices", and then click "Video Controller (VGA Compatible).
6. Click mouse right button to enter the "Properties".
7. Click "Driver".
8. Click "Update Driver", a welcome message of "Upgrade Device Drive Wizard" window
appears.
9. Click "Next" to enter the "Install Hardware Device Drivers".
10. Click "Display a list of the known drivers...".
11. Click "Next" button to enter the "Hardware Type".
12. Select "Display adapters" and then click "Next" to enter "Select a Device Driver"
screen.
13. Click "Have Disk..." to enter "Install From Disk" screen.
14. Click "Browse..." to enter "Locate File" window.
15. The directory in Diskette#1 is at the directory in CD-Title is at
"X:\5400\VGA\Win2000 - Where "X" is the ID of the CD-ROM.
16. Click "SiS540.inf" and then click "Open".
17. Click "OK", a "WinFast 6300/8300 MAX" model appears.
18. Click "Next", an "Upgrade Driver Warning" message appears.
19. Click "Yes" to go back to "Start Device Driver Installation".
20. Click "Next", a "Digital Signature Not Found" window appears.
21. Click "Yes". The"Upgrade Device Driver Wizard" starts installing.
22. After installation completed, "Completing the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard" appears.
23. Click "Finish".
24. The "System Settings Change" window appears. Click "Yes" to reboot the system.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
