Reprogramming Buttons remotely:

Each user definable button has a corresponding .bcf file
that is installed on the client's hard drive as part of
the Easy Access software installation.
By default, the .bcf files are located in
C:\Program Files\Compaq\Easy Access Keyboard.

Reprogramming a button remotely requires access to the
client's machine where the .bcf file is stored.

A sample bcf file contents:

[Settings]
Disable=0
CurrentLink=Compaq|http://www.compaq.com/

[pre-defined links]
Url0=DirectPlus|http://www.directplus.compaq.com/
Url1=Mute|11
Url2=Volume Dn|10
Url3=Volume Up|9

Locking a Button:

As an administrator, you can lock any of the Easy Access
Buttons. Once locked, the user cannot reprogram any
buttons without modifying the .bcf file.

To lock a button, change the value of the parameter
Disable under [Settings] to 1.
