******************************************************************
1. Installation of adapter speed card / PC104
==================================================================
To install the card under Windows 95/98, you should install FIRST
the software and THAN the hardware. Windows 95/98 allocates to the
ISDN-Controller free system resources (I/O address, interrupt) during
the software installation. You will have to specify those resources
into the ISDN-Controller, by means of the relevant DIP switches.
The installation under Windows 95/98 is performed with the help
of Hardware Installation Wizard:
* Please click sequentially: Start / Settings / Control Panel / Add
New Hardware and the Add New Hardware Wizard will be opened.
* Press in the following window the <Next>-Button and the button <No>
to the question if the system should look for new hardware. Than
click once more <Next>.
* As for the type of hardware to be installed, please choose "Other
devices" and press the button <Next>.
* In the following window please click <Have Disk...>. Now you should
introduce the installation disk in the relevant disk drive.
* Windows 95/98 will show you which I/O address and Interrupt numbers
can be used for the installation of the ISDN-Controller. You will
have to install the ISDN-Controller with the values your Windows
95/98 suggests, by means of the relative DIP switches!
* At the end of the installation your PC will have to be switched off,
in order to proceed to the installation of the hardware.
* Switch OFF your PC and install physically the ISDN-Controller.
2. Installation of adapter speed box
==================================================================
* Switch off your computer, use the connector on the box to
plug the "speed box" in your PC's vacant parallel port, than
connect the ISDN cable to an ISDN socket and finally connect the
power supply (Power supply on, LED shines). See also description
in the handbook.
* Click on (Start/Settings/Control Panel), click twice on the symbol
for "Add New Hardware" to start the Add New Hardware Wizard.
* Click on <Next>. You will now be asked if the system is to look
for new hardware. Confirm with <No> and then click on the
<Next> button.
* Mark "Other devices" and click on the <Next> button.
* In the next window click on <Have Disk> in order to install the
CAPI driver. Enter the installation path.
* At the end of the installation you will be informed that the system
settings were changed and you will be told to re-start the computer.
Confirm with <Yes> to restart Windows 95.
3. Installation of adapter speed win / win PCI / fax + / star
==================================================================
* Plug in the ISDN adapter as described in the manual supplied
with your computer.
* The adapter is of the type Plug & Play so that Windows 95
automatically identifies the ISDN-Controller as a new hardware
component. Don´t let Windows choose to search automatically
the driver. For installation enter then the path to drivers.
* At the end of the installation you will be informed that the system
settings were changed and you will be told to restart the computer.
Confirm with <Yes> to restart Windows 95.
4. Installation check
==================================================================
* Select Start/Settings/Control Panel/System/Device Manager.
* If the entry of your Sedlbauer ISDN-Adapter (e.g. "Sedlbauer
ISDN-Adapter ...") appears with a YELLOW exclamation mark,
the installation was not successful!
5. Uninstall of the CAPI driver
==================================================================
* Please open the "Device Manager" (see above)
* Mark the entry of your Sedlbauer ISDN adapter (e.g. "Sedlbauer
ISDN adapter ...") and press the <delete> button.
* Atfer confirmation of the safety query, the driver will be removed.
6. CAPI driver update under Windows 95/98
==================================================================
* Uninstall the old CAPI driver (see above)
* Install the new CAPI driver (see above)

* Dial up network for Windows 95/98 *
******************************************************************
The NDIS-WAN-Miniport driver enables you to access the Internet,
e.g. with the Microsoft Internet Explorer. Links to Windows NT
or Windows 95 computers are also possible by means of RAS (Remote
Access Services) or by the Dial-Up Networking.
Note:
You can find detailed install instructions for the Sedlbauer
NDIS WAN miniport driver in your manual. If you have no such
manual you can download the relevant version from our Internet
homepage "http://www.sedlbauer-ag.de"
1. Requirements
==================================================================
* You must still have installed the Microsoft Dial-Up Networking.
(Start/Settings/Control Panel, "Add/Remove Software",
Communications/Details)
* It is essential to have installed the CAPI driver for your
adapter prior to installation.
* To connect your Internet service provider you must still have
installed a network protocol (e.g. TCP/IP protocol).
(Start/Settings/Control Panel/Network/Configuration/Add/
protocol/Microsoft)
The necessary data is available from your Internet provider.
2. Installation
==================================================================
* Windows 95
First check via Start/Settings/Control Panel/, "Add/Remove
Software", Windows Setup/Communications/Details whether
there is already the Microsoft ISDN Accelerator Pack 1.1 installed.
If there is already one, do NOT install the Microsoft ISDN
Accelerator Pack 1.1. Otherwise install the Microsoft
ISDN Accelerator Pack 1.1 by executing the program ENMSISDN.EXE.
To install the Sedlbauer NDIS WAN miniport driver, next doubleklick
on "Network" in the "Control Panel". Via <Add>, <Adapter>, <Add>
and <Have Disk> you can install the driver. After you entered
the right path of the install files you will be led through the
installation automatically.
* Windows 98
Do NOT install the Microsoft ISDN Accelerator Pack 1.1 under
Windows 98 (ENMSISDN.EXE!), because there is a newer version
of the (Microsoft ISDN Accelerator Pack (1.2) already integrated
in your Windows 98 system.
The Sedlbauer NDIS WAN miniport driver is automatically installed
with the CAPI driver.
******************************************************************
