Instructions for updating the BIOS for the Micronics M54Hi system board Step 1: It is IMPERATIVE that the flash process be performed under a clean DOS environment. This means that no memory manager software nor any "TSR" programs must be present in memory. The easiest way to boot clean DOS is to hit the F5 key when "Starting MS-DOS" appears on the screen, or to boot from a formatted DOS diskette with only COMMAND.COM present. Step 2: Change directories to the appropriate subdirectory where the PHLASH program is located. Step 3: Type PHLASH M54HI_06.ROM [ENTER]. This will start the flash update process. If prompted if you want to use "auto-sensing", hit "Y". Step 4: After the ROM has been cleared, and the BIOS has been updated, the system should reset. Verify that the new BIOS version comes up on the screen.Download Driver Pack
