<< EDIROL UR-80 Editor >> UR-80 Editor is software that lets you create UR-80 memory sets on your computer. You can also make system settings for the UR-80 itself. <Installing the software> Install the software as follows. * If you are using Windows 2000/XP, you must log on as a user who has administrative privileges (e.g., Administrator) before installing the software. * If you are using Windows XP, make sure that all users except for the installing user are logged-off. 1. Close all currently-running software (applications). 2. Start up UR80Editor.EXE from the Explorer. 3. When the installer has started up and the "Welcome to the UR-80 Editor InstallShield wizard" screen appears, click [Next]. 4. The "Please Read" screen will appear. Click [Yes]. If you click [No] the installation will be aborted. 5. The "Select Installation Destination" screen will appear. If you accept the default selection, click [Next]. If you want to install the software in a different folder, click [Browse] and specify the desired location. 6. Verify the current settings in the "Begin Copying" screen, and click [Next]. By clicking [Back] you can return to the Select Installation Destination screen and change the installation destination. 7. When the files have been copied, the "InstallShield wizard completed" screen will appear. Click [OK]. This completes installation of the UR-80 Editor. <Operation> For details on how to use the UR-80 Editor, refer to the UR-80 owner's manual. <Uninstalling the software> * If you are using Windows 2000/XP, you must log on as a user who has administrative privileges (e.g., Administrator) in order to uninstall the software. 1. Click the Windows Start button, and click [Settings] - [Control Panel]. (In Windows XP, click the Start button and then click Control Panel.) 2. Double-click the "Add or Remove Applications" icon. (In Windows XP, the "Add or Remove Programs" icon.) The "Add or Remove Application Properties" (in Windows 2000, "Add or Remove Applications"; in Windows XP "Add or Remove Programs") dialog box will appear. 3. Click the [Install or Remove] tab (in Windows 2000/XP, the [Change or Remove Programs] icon). 4. In the list, click "UR-80 Editor." 5. Click "Add or Remove" (in Windows 2000, [Change/Remove]; in Windows XP, [Change or Remove]). 6. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
