How to Load inSRX-02Patches.txt Driver File Contents (srx_02.zip)


The file contained with this readme file is a Backup file for the User memory of 
the MC-909. To load in the Patch data for the SRX-02 Pianos you will have to do a 
USER RESTORE dump from a Smartmedia card. You will NEED A SMARTMEDIA card to 
perform this operation.

WARNING: This will overwrite the data in the USER memory of your MC-909. Please be 
sure to backup your Patches, Patterns, and Samples before doing a USER RESTORE 
operation (see User Manual for instructions.) Otherwise you will lose your data.

After you do a USER RESTORE to your MC-909 from this enclosed Backup file you will 
find the First User pattern to have 14 SRX-02 Piano Patches. You can save these to 
card memory locations so that you can restore your previous USER location data.

Steps.

1. Do a USER Backup of Your Internal USER Memory to a Smartmedia card.
2. Put another formatted Smartmedia card into the Smartmedia slot of the MC-909.
3. Press Menu and select USB.
4. Select the Memory Card (F4).
5. After the Card memory mounts on your computer desktop drag the file "Backup" 
onto the card.
6. Unmount the card from your computer deskstop.
7. Press Menu and select Utility .
8. Press F5 for User Restore.
9. Perform operation (F6) and reboot MC-909 after it completes restoring the USER 
memory..
10. The Patches that will read the SRX-02 Expansion board will be in the First 
User Pattern "SRX-02 Pianos"

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
