This folder contains the setup program for GT-PRO Editor; a program for editing the parameters for the GT-PRO on your computer, and for GT-PRO Librarian; a program for batch management for the GT-PRO on your computer. For detailed information about each of these programs, start the program, then go to the "Help" menu and click either "GT-PRO Editor Manual" or "GT-PRO Librarian Manual." < About the Installation > If you are using Windows 2000/XP, you must log on using a user name with an administrative account type (e.g., Administrator). For details on user accounts, please consult the system administrator of your computer. To install these software programs, double-click Setup.exe. The easy installation installs the entire software package (GT-PRO Editor, GT-PRO Librarian, and the associated help files). If you prefer, you can choose to do a custom installation, and select and install only the software you need. * When you start up GT-PRO Editor or GT-PRO Librarian for the first time following installation, the absence of MIDI device settings causes a message to be displayed. Select "Set Up MIDI devices..." from the "Setup" menu, then make the necessary settings for your MIDI device. < System Requirements > o Operating System Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP Home Edition (English or Japanese version) Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP Professional (English or Japanese version) Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 2000 Professional (English or Japanese version) Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Me (English or Japanese version) Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 98 Second Edition (English or Japanese version) Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 98 (English or Japanese version) o CPU Pentium(R)/Celeron(TM) or compatible processor, 400 MHz or better Pentium(R) III 500 MHz or better is recommended o RAM 128 MB or more 256 MB or more (recommended) o Free space required on hard disk 100 MB or more o Display resolution/Color depth 800 x 600 or higher/65,536 colors (16 bit High Color) or more 1024 x 768 or higher (recommended) * Although BOSS has tested numerous configurations, and has determined that on average, a computer system similar to that described above will permit normal operation of the GT-PRO Editor and GT-PRO Librarian, BOSS cannot guarantee that a given computer can be used satisfactorily with the GT-PRO Editor and GT-PRO Librarian based solely on the fact that it meets the above requirements. This is because there are too many other variables that may influence the processing environment, including differences in motherboard design and the particular combination of other devices involved. < Note > All files and other material contained on this CD-ROM are copyrighted by BOSS Corporation.
