OPERATING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE FINGERLOC SOFTWARE

To use The FingerLoc software, you must be running one of 
the following 32-bit Windows operating systems:

	- Microsoft Windows 98

	- Microsoft Windows 2000

	- Microsoft Windows NT 4.0

	- Microsoft Windows Millenium

Service Packs for Windows 9x and Windows NT operating systems
can be obtained from Microsoft Corporation.

If you wish to build or modify the included source code then you 
must have a copy of Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0.

This is the first version of the new architecture.

Known Problems:
Build 22 returns the wrong value in a call to ATGetMatchTemplateSize()
when passed a NULL for the image.  The value returned is MUCH larger
than what will be required.  This will be fixed in the next release.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
