1  Overview
===========

The Miniport Driver installation package contains the Marvell 32-bit
Miniport driver for the Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet Adapter Family.

This README file explains how to install the Miniport Driver Package on a
machine running Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000,
Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.

2  Required Files
=================

To install the Miniport Driver, the following file is required:

    SetupYukonWin.exe

3  Installation Instructions
============================

With PCI adapters, due to the plug & play facility of PCI, Windows is
able to find, identify and configure the adapter automatically. Cancel
all the operating system attempts to install the drive automatically.

NOTE:
   To install the driver make sure that you are logged in as a user with
administrative rights.

To install the Miniport Driver, proceed as follows:

1. Execute the setup file SetupYukonWin.exe .

2. Follow the instructions of the installation procedure.

4  Silent Installation
======================

In order to install the driver silently following commands line should be
executed:

- for installation:

SetupYukonWin.exe /S /V"/LIME %WINDIR%\YukonInstall.log
REBOOT=ReallySuppress/qn"

- for driver removal:

SetupYukonWin.exe /S /V"/LIME %WINDIR%\YukonInstall.log REMOVE=ALL
REBOOT=ReallySuppress /qn"

- for driver repair:

SetupYukonWin.exe /S /V"/LIME %WINDIR%\YukonInstall.log
REINSTALLMODE=vomus REINSTALL=ALL REBOOT=ReallySuppress /qn"

On Windows 98 SE/ME it is recommended to use "REBOOT=Force" instead of
"REBOOT=ReallySupress" because each drive installation is completed after
reboot.

By default destination directory is %PROGRAMFILES%\Marvell\Miniport
Driver.

This can be changed by setting INSTALLDIR variable .

For example :

SetupYukonWin.exe /S /V"/LIME %WINDIR%\YukonInstall.log
INSTALLDIR=C:\MyDir REBOOT=ReallySuppress/qn"

The installation status is logged in the file %WINDIR%\YukonInstall.log .

The log file path can be changed replacing %WINDIR%\YukonInstall.log with
the preferred file path.

NOTE:
  Silent installation is not supported for Windows NT4.

5  Troubleshooting
