Windows 98 / Windows 2000 Installation files for Proxima Dual

Installation :

The Proxima Dual will be automatically installed in three steps :
1. P&D startup - USB device
2. USB serial convertor
3. 56Modem (Bausch_Proxima_Dual)
How to remove :
-------------
It's possible to remove all files in two steps :
1. Go to Settings/Control Panel/AddRemove Programs
and remove the 'FTDI USB Convertor Drivers'
1bis. Only if step one was not possible.
There are two small executables on the installation disk.
Windows 98 : ftdiunin.exe
Windows 2000 : ftdiun2k.exe
This programm will delete all other files of the USB convertor.
2. Go to Settings/Control Panel/Modems to remove
the 56Modem (Bausch_Proxima_Dual).
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
