   Introduction:
   -------------
   This document describes the procedure to install  Windows 95
   driver for PnP Ethernet Card.

   Location of Driver:     \WIN95\PNPNT.SYS

   Installing driver procedure on Microsoft Windows 95 :
   -----------------------------------------------------
      Windows 95 is the operation system with Plug & Play feature. 
      Since this adapter has not registered by Microsoft, When the user set the
      network card either in PnP or NE2000 mode, you must setup your driver as 
      following procedure by manual.

      1. When log into Windows 95, click on the "Start" icon ,then move the
         mouse to "Settings" icon and click on the "Control Panel".

      2. In the Control Panel window, click on the "Network" icon.

      3. In the Network Configuration dialog box, choose the "Add.." button.
         "Select  Network  Component Type"  dialog  box  appears, and select
         "Adapter" icon.

      4. In the list of Manufacturers, select "Have Disk", and then choose the
         "OK" button.

      5. Insert the PnP Ethernet Card driver diskette into floppy drive and 
         specify the LAN driver path, and then choose the "OK" button.

         for example : A:\win95

      5. Then, you will see  "PnP Ethernet Adapter"
         in the Network  Configuration  dialog box, select it and then click
         on the "Properties"  button.

      6. In this dialog box, select "Resources ",the screen will come up with
         settings: IRQ  and  I/O address.  Make sure the  values that come up
         match the actual board settings.

      7. Restarting your system you will acquire network service.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
