AFLASH.EXE ***************************************************************************** To use AFlash, do the following: 1. Copy the MSG.DAT and AFLASH.EXE files from the aflash utility diskette into a subdirectory of your choice. 2. From that subdirectory, type: aflash <Enter> 3. A help message appears. Press any key to continue. 4. The main menu appears. Use the up- or down-arrow keys to highlight the options. Press Enter to select. 5. If you want to save a copy of the current BIOS into a file, select SAVE BIOS TO A DISK FILE. 6. Select LOAD BIOS FILE to load the BIOS file into memory. 7. Select EDIT OEM STRING to edit the OEM string within the BIOS file, if BIOS file supports the OEM string. 8. Select PROGRAM FLASH ROM to erase the current BIOS, and program flash ROM. ** WARNING! ** Do not turn off system power while flash BIOS is programming. This will destroy the BIOS. 9. After program flash ROM, system will be halted and you have to turn off power and reboot the system. ***************************************************************************** A quicker way to load the BIOS file into memory, and program the Flash ROM is to type: Aflash <filename> <Enter> The program automatically performs the loading and programming functions. If the program cannot find the BIOS file, it shows the main menu and flashes this message: "Can't read this file !!! Press any key to continue......" Follow the procedures for loading and programming the BIOS file using the main menu. ** WARNING! ** Do not install memory-related drivers (EMS, DPMI) when Aflash is used. ***************************************************************************** ============================ AFlash For Consumer Products ============================ AFlash supported parameter '/csr' for consumer product. Program the flash ROM for consumer product is to type: Aflash /csr <filename> <Enter> The program automatically performs the loading and programming functions and no message display. After programming, the system will reboot automatically. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
