PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE GOTYPE! PRO KEYBOARD WITH YOUR BE-300 Thank you for your purchase of the GoType! Keyboard. This program will prepare the GoType! software for installation onto your Cassiopeia BE-300. NOTE: The GoType! software is required to enable your GoType! keyboard and Cassiopeia BE-300 to communicate. ------------------------------------------------ FUNCTIONAL LIMITATIONS The Cassiopeia BE-300 Pocket Manager does not support synchronization via the GoType! keyboard. All synchronization should be performed using the docking hardware that you received with your Cassiopeia BE-300. Please ensure that the switch on the front of the GoType! keyboard is set to the "ABC" position. ------------------------------------------------ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS - Place your organizer in the cradle that you received with your Cassiopeia BE-300 and establish a connection with the desktop software. - Insert your GoType! diskette - Click the Start button on your desktop computer - Select "Run..." - Type a:setup - Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the software installation. ------------------------------------------------ SOFTWARE ACTIVATION If you do not activate the GoType! software on your Cassiopeia BE-300, the keyboard WILL NOT RESPOND. To ACTIVATE the GoType! software, please follow these steps: - Power your Cassiopeia BE-300 OFF and remove it from the cradle. - Place your Cassiopeia BE-300 on the GoType! keyboard. - Ensure that the switch on the front of the GoType! keyboard is to the "ABC" (right) position - Power your Cassiopeia BE-300 ON - Tap the GoType! icon on your Cassiopeia BE-300 Menu - Tap the ON button to enable the GoType! software IMPORTANT: You must power OFF your Cassiopeia BE-300 before placing it on the GoType! keyboard and then turn it back ON to start using the keyboard. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
