Internet is an application for browsing pages on the
World Wide Web (WWW).

---------------------------------------------------------
About This Update
---------------------------------------------------------
<> Automatic http:// Input
When you input a URL to jump to a Web page, you do
not need to input the characters "http://", which are
   input automatically.
Inputting "www.msn.com", for example, accesses the
   page at "http://www.msn.com/".

<> Screen Fit
This function adjusts the layout of graphics and text
to match the width of the screen, whenever possible.
Note, however, that certain conditions may make
   adjustment impossible.
This function is available from the [Display] menu of
   the [Func] button.

<> Show/Hide scroll-bar
You can use this function to hide the scroll-bar and
use the entire screen area for viewing. When the
scrollbars are turned off, use the cursor key to
   scroll the screen contents.
This function is available from the [Settings] of the
[Func] button. Tap the [Settings] from the [Func]
button. And then, tap the [Disp] tab and check the
   "Show Scroll-bar" option.

<> Go Home Page
With this new function, you can specify a Web page
for "Start page:". When you do, the specified Web
appears whenever you start up Browser.
This function is available from the [Func] button
   menu.

<> [Use URL Being Browsed] button
When specifying a Home page with "Start page:", you
can tap the [Use URL Being Browsed] to specify the
page that you are currently browsing.
This function is available on the [Settings] screen
   of the [Func] button.

Operating Precautions
---------------------------------------------------------

<> Before using your CASSIOPEIA to access the Internet,
you must first contract with an Internet Service
Provider (ISP). You also need to use Connections to
   configure the required connection settings.

<> Some Web pages may not display properly on your
   CASSIOPEIA.

<> You may not be able to display a page whose size
exceeds the memory capacity of your CASSIOPEIA.

<> Internet does not support SHOCKWAVE.

<> You cannot play back move and audio files directly on
Web pages you browse using Internet.

<> Special programming languages (such as Java Script)
can cause CASSIOPEIA operation to become abnormal or
to lock up completely. If this happens, reset your
CASSIOPEIA. Note that the reset operation does not
   delete user data.

<> If you browse a page that uses Java Script, the Java
Script program may cause abnormal operation.

<> Unstable data communication conditions can cause the
   CASSIOPEIA to reset itself automatically.

<> Accessing a very large page can cause the Internet
application to shut down suddenly. If this happens,
restart the Internet application and try accessing
   the page again.

<> Using accented or special characters in a name when
saving a Web page, saving page elements, registering
a bookmark, or performing similar operations can
cause the save operation to fail. Use standard
characters and numbers and avoid using accented and
   special characters in such names.

<> Make sure you are connected to the Internet when
saving a Web page. You cannot save a Web page while
   off line.

<> Browsing off line displays pages you have already
saved. You cannot re-save a page that is already
stored in memory. To replace a previously saved page
with a new one, you must first delete the old page
and then save the new one.

<> Other operations become very slow while a page is
loading. Wait until the page is loaded completely
before trying to perform another operation.
