================================================= ThrustMaster USB Game Controller Device Drivers Release Notes - Version 1.00 ================================================= 21-Apr-1998 This file contains a description of updates that have been made to the ThrustMaster USB device drivers, and associated files, for Release 1.00. In addition to this file, the following files are included in this release: File Name Vers Date/Time Description ------------ ---- --------------- ------------------------------- README.TXT N/A N/A 1. General information on ThrustMaster USB devices and drivers. Updated from beta. TMUSB.INF 1.05 04/21/98 12:00p 1. Updated for first official release--to coincide with TOP GUN joystick introduction. TMUSB.SYS 1.03 03/17/98 10:00p 1. Added handling of PnP REMOVE event to allow shutdown of system if read IRP is pending. 2. Added code to reset USB pipe if stalled during a USB BULK_OR_INTERRUPT_TRANSFER read request. JOYTMUSB.VXD 1.07 03/20/98 04:42p 1. Added support for descriptor- based automatic device calibration. User can override with a manual calibration. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Notes: 1. This is the first official release of the USB game controller drivers. These files have been in beta for a long time (close to a year) so although the release number is 1.00, the drivers have been tested thoroughly on many systems. 2. These drivers are compatible ONLY with Windows 95 OSR 2.1. Using them with Windows 98 will have unpredictable results. Please refer to the README.TXT file for more details. 3. Version 1.03 of TMUSB.SYS addresses a problem with system shutdown while the device is connected. When previous versions of the driver were used, under certain conditions the system would appear to freeze during a shutdown, however pushing a stick button or moving the control handle would allow shutdown to continue. This version of TMUSB.SYS fixes the problem so no control movements are necessary. 4. To identify the internal version numbers for ThrustMaster .SYS and .VXD drivers, use the Windows Explorer to select the files, right click on the file icon, then select Properties from the right click menu. The file version number, along with other version resource information, is displayed on the "Version" tabbed dialog.Download Driver Pack
