Driver installation for Windows 2000 ==================================== 1. Right click on my computer, highlight properties and click 2. Go to hardware tab 3. Go to device manager 4. Under Other device the Remote Access Companion card will be listed as Base System Device, double click on this. 5. Go to driver tab and click on update driver, this will launch the wizard. 6. Follow the onscreen instructions given by the “Upgrade Device Driver Wizard”. 7. Search for suitable device driver, which is the default, click next. 8. Leave the CD-Rom checked in the “optional search locations” menu, click next (make sure the CD is in the drive). 9. The wizard will search the CD-Rom and load the driver, once the driver is found click next. 10.Now click finish. 11.The device manager window will now appear and it will show the Remote Access Companion card at the top of the list. 12.You have now loaded the driver for the Remote Access Companion card. Driver uninstallation for Windows 2000 ====================================== 1. Right click on my computer, highlight properties and click 2. Go to hardware tab 3. Go to device manager 4. Right click on the MegaRAC 78x and Select unistall. 5. Shutdown the system 6. Remove the card.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
