Basic procedure for generating a SDK port for a server
with IPMI

1) Install MegaRAC in the IPMI server. Be sure to attach
the ribbon cable between the MegaRAC and the server.

2) Run the GetSDR utility and complete the following steps.

   a) The following will be displayed:

AMI IPMI Sensor Data Records Utility - Version 1.0
For the following, please refer to IPMI - Sensor Data Record Formats
   --------------------------------------------------------------------

Output all Sensor Data Records (SDR) to file (1)
Create SDR file for MrSDK (*.sdr) (2)
   Output to Screen (3)
   Return to OS (4)

   b) Enter 2
   c) The following will be displayed:

   Enter File Name:

   d) Enter IPMI.sdr
   e) The following will be displayed:

   Enter First Record ID (Hex):

   f) Enter 0

   * The message "working..." should be displayed during
     program execution.
   * The message "Output to file (IPMI.sdr) complete"
should be displayed after program execution.
   * If the message "IPMI Abort" is displayed, the
program has stopped due to an IPMI timeout. The
solution is to run the GetSDR utility again. Note,
the GetSDR utility is used only once to create a
     SDR file.

3) Run the MrSDK utility and complete the following steps.

   a) Click on the "Import IPMI Info" button
   b) Locate the IPMI.sdr file and click on the "Open"
      button
   c) Click on the "Save Configuration" button
   d) Type the IPMI.cfg file name and click on the
      "Save" button
   e) Click on the "Exit" button
   f) Type the IPMI.dat Script File name and click on
      the "Save" button

This completes the basic procedure for generation of a
SDK port for an IPMI server. Please note that the MrSDK
utility can be used to customize the SDK port.

Use the Sdkflash utility to flash the new IPMI.dat SDK
port information into the MegaRAC.
