MegaRAC Firmware Upgrade for Systems Without FAT File System
============================================================

Create a Bootable DOS Diskette
================================
A bootable floppy must be created with the following files all from the same
OS version (DOS, Win95 or Win98):
            COMMAND.COM
            HIMEM.SYS
            RAMDRIVE.SYS

Add the following files from the DISK directory on the CD:
            AUTOEXEC.BAT
            CONFIG.SYS
            SHELL.EXE
            AMIRAC.EXE

Operation
=========
The basic CONFIG.SYS creates a 4MB RAM drive.

If no RAMDRIVE.SYS is provided, the files will be extracted to the C: drive
by default.

HIMEM.SYS is required.

Upon boot the AUTOEXEC.BAT file invokes the SHELL.EXE.

The SHELL.EXE references the RAM drive and executes the self-extracting ZIP
file, AMIRAC.EXE. Upon completion of extracting the files the SHELL.EXE then
executes the UPGRADE.BAT file (extracted from AMIRAC.EXE).

UPGRADE.BAT displays the firmware upgrade procedure.

FLASH.BAT invokes the MegaRAC flash utility to upgrade the card with
the firmware version provided.

The MegaRAC configuration utility can be invoked from the DOS prompt.
