FIRMWARE UPDATE FOR MACH 52
Instruction on how to get the firmware update:
1. Double click on the 5224V001H.EXE and save the file to the Computer's Hard Drive.
(ex: the computer's Desktop).
Before running the firmware flash, please insert a data disc (NERO) into the Mach 52
and restart your computer and once the computer comes back up your ready to run the Firmware program.
2. Double click it on this file to run it. When you go to flash the drive a message will pop up that says the
"drive model does not match".
Click ok and continue with the flash.
BTC Windows Flash screen will appear.
3. Select the "CDWRITERIDE5224" as the target drive.
4. Click on "Browse" button.
5. Select (click on) the file "FW.HEX" then click OPEN.
6. Click on "Upgrade" button
"Welcome to the Upgrade Program" screen will appear
7. Click on "OK" to update the firmware.
8. The process takes approximately a minute. (Please wait)
9. Restart the computer after the firmware is updated.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
