1. Launch the Setup.exe yourself before you plug USB cable to DSC.
2. If you plug in the USB cable first, please select cancel on the setup wizard.
3. IF there are messages inquiring you to insert disk , please refer the path to
C:\Windows\twain_32\MyDSC\sqcamd.sys
C:\Windows\twain_32\MyDSC\sqcaptur.sys
P.S. CDROM is "My DSC" setup CD
******* HOW TO DOWNLOAD PHOTOS *******
1. Launch the [My DSC] on Desktop, Select My DSC.
2. The Photo's main window appears and you can click the Download Photos icon.
******* Acquiring the TWAIN driver *******
TWAIN is the industry standard protocol that allows external image devices to communicate
with your imaging software.
1. Launch the TWAIN-compliant program (e.g. Imaging).
2. Select [select scanner] from the File menu.
3. The Select data source box appears. Choose [Dula-Mode DSC(2770)] and click the Acquire button.
4. The Photo's main window appears and you can click the Download Photos icon.
5. Now you may transfer camera images directly into Imaging for viewing / editing OR save images directly to disk.
******* Video Capture Applications *******
1. Launch the [My DSC] on Desktop, Select PCCam.
2. The PCCam's main window appears and you can click Preview in the Option tool bar to preview
or click Capture in the Capture tool bar to Start capturing video.
******* VIDEO CONFERENCE Applications *******
1. Launch the NetMeeting TM if you have installed it.
A. Check if you have installed NetMeeting.
a. Click[Start]
b. Click[Programs]
c. Click[Accessories]
d. Click[communications] or [Internet tools]
e. Click NetMeeting
B.Check if [My DSC] wdm driver was successfully installed ?
a. open [Device Manager]
b. find [imaging devices]
c. select [Dula-Mode DSC(2770)]then "Action" it's "Properties"
d. Check whether the Device Status is "This divice is working properly".
e. if not , try 1. again !
4. To run other video conference programs , you must check if
[My DSC] wdm driver was successfully installed.
******* Questions*******
Q: How to fix the problem if wdm driver was not successfully installed ?
A:
1. Open [System] in Control Panel.
2. Open [Device Manager]
3. Find [imaging devices]
4. Select [My DSC] then delete it.
5. Delete sq9120.inf files if it exists.
<WINDIR>\inf\sq9120.inf and
<WINDIR>\inf\other\SQTechnologysq9120.inf
ps.<WINDIR> is Windows directory. Default is C:\Windows .
6. Remove and plug USB cable again.
7. Follow the steps of the setup wizard.
8. Check whether the Device Status is "This divice is working properly".
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
