Firmware Upgrade ReadMe.txt Driver File Contents (firmware_german29102004.zip)

The Instructions of Upgrading the Firmware for
MP3 Stick/MP3 MusicStick/MP3 500/ MP3 1000 Players
with German default language, for Sticks with a white label in the battery compartment, not light blue.

1. Connect the player to your computer
2. Click the Removable Disk under My Computer.
3. Copy all needed files from the payer to your computer.
4. Copy the file of "$norfla$.ugr" into Removable Disk.
5. Please note that the file name of "$norfla$.ugr" cannot be changed.
6. After copying the file of "$norfla$.ugr" into Removable Disk, unplug the player by safety removal procedures. 
7. Wait until the player finish startup procedure.
8. Connect the player to your computer again.
9. Format the player with FAT file system.
10. Copy the file of "$nanfla$.ugr" into Removable Disk. 
11. Please note that the file name of "$nanfla$.ugr" cannot be changed.
12. Once you unplug the player, the firmware will be upgraded automatically. You will see "F/W updating" shown on the display.
13. After 1 minute, you will see "OK!" and then "Starting" shown on the display.
14. Then, you will see "Welcome" on the display. The firmware finished upgrading.

Upgrade-Anweisung für die Modelle
MP3 Stick/MP3 MusicStick/MP3 500/ MP3 1000 Players
mit Deutsch als Sprache, für Sticks mit einem weißen (!) Label im Batteriefach,(!! Achtung !!) nicht hellblau

1. Verbinden Sie den Player mit dem Computer.
2. Ein Wechseldatenträger erscheint auf dem Arbeitsplatz
3. Kopieren Sie alles Daten vom Player auf den Computer, die Sie weiterhin benötigen.
4. Kopieren Sie die Datei  "$norfla$.ugr"  auf den Wechseldatenträger. 
5. Bitte beachten Sie, das der Dateiname "$norfla$.ugr" nicht geändert werden kann.
6. Nach dem Kopiervorgang entfernen Sie den Player von der USB-Schnittstelle.
7. Warten Sie jetzt, bis der Player seine Start-Prozedur durchgeführt hat
8. Verbinden Sie jetzt den Player wieder mit dem Computer.
9. Formatieren Sie den Player mit dem Dateisystem FAT ( nicht FAT32!).
10. Kopieren Sie die Datei  "$nanfla$.ugr"  auf den Wechseldatenträger. 
11. Bitte beachten Sie, das der Dateiname " $nanfla$.ugr " nicht geändert werden kann.
12. Nachdem der Player von der Schnittstelle entfernt wurde, wird die das Firmware-Upgrade automatisch durchlaufen. Die sehen "F/W updating" im Display.
13. Nach 1 Minute sehen Sie "OK" and den Schriftzug "starting..." im Display
14. Abschliessend sehen Sie "Welcome" im Display. Das Firmware-Upgrade war erfolgreich.
