How To Install.txt Driver File Contents (M920MI.06.05.zip)

Cabinet installation instructions for the M920 Display Drivers.

There are two .cab files supplied with this release:

SSDisplay.ce_arm.CAB
	Designed for a strong arm(Xscale) compatible PDA running Pocket PC.
SSDisplay.ce_mips.CAB
	Designed for a mips compatible PDA running Hand Held PC 2000.

To install either cab file on the appropriate system do the following:
	
1. Copy the .CAB file to the "My Documents" folder on the pda via Active Sync 
	OR: 
   Copy the .CAB file to a CF storage card to be inserted into the appropriate PDA.

2. Open the .CAB file by selecting it from the PDA system, either "My Dcouments" folder or the
	CF storage card.

3. Select the appropriate installation directory.

4. At this time the installation wizard may ask you to remove the SSDisplay from the system.
	If it is plugged in.

5. You may be ask to retry on replacing an exsisting file. Once the M920 Display card is removed 
	the retry should be successful.

6. At this time, the M920 Display card can be inserted into the system and is ready for operation.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
