Installing driver procedure on Microsoft Windows ME :
-----------------------------------------------------
Before you start with the installation process, make sure
that your controller is properly installed on your
board . In executing Windows ME, it will auto-detect your
system configuration and find the controller hardware.
(If Windows ME does not prompt that it detects the
Ethernet controller, there must be something wrong with the
RTL8139 Fast Ethernet controller or your system enviroment.)
1. During the installation process, you will be asked to select
the driver you want to install. At this moment, select
"Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacturer".
2. Insert the Realtek RTL8139 driver disk into drive A or specify
the setup file pathname as D:\LAN\RTL8139x\Winme if your driver
is in a CD.
3. Windows ME will prompt you to insert the Windows ME
system disk to complete setup.
4. Windows ME will then finish other installation procedure
automatically. Then, restart the system for changes to take
effect.
