Installing LAN Drivers for Windows 95

This section describes the procedure to install Windows 95 driver
for Realtek RTL8139 PCI Fast Ethernet hardware.
1. Executing Windows 95 will auto-detect your system configuration
and find the Ethernet hardware.
2. When asked to select the driver you want to install, select
Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacturer.
3. Insert the CD containing the Realtek RTL8139 drivers into the
CD-ROM drive and specify the setup file pathname as
D:\Lan\Rtl8139x\Win95 (assuming D: is your CD-ROM drive.)
4. Windows 95 will appear with a message to insert Windows 95 system
disk to complete setup. Do so accordingly.
5. Windows 95 will finish other installation procedure automatically,
and ask you to restart the system.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
