A. Installation
1. Click the 'Network' icon in the Control Panel Group.
2. Click the 'Add' button in the 'Network' Dialog Box.
3. Select the 'Adapter' and click the 'Add' button in the 'Network'
Dialog Box.
4. Click the 'Have Disk' button in the 'Select Network adapters' Dialog
Box.
5. Insert this driver disk into drive A:, type the path A:\WINNT\40,
and click the 'OK' button.
6. When the 'Winbond W89C840 PCI Ethernet Adapter' dialog box appears,
press <Enter>.
7. If more than one 840 card is installed on your computer, select a
specified 840 card by inputing Ethernet ID.
Select the 'Winbond W89C840 PCI Ethernet Adapter' item in the
'Network' Dialog Box.
Click the 'Advanced' button.
Select the 'Selected Ethernet ID' item.
Type the Ethernet ID.
Click the 'OK' button.
8. When you finish the installation procedure, click the 'OK' button.
9. Restart your computer.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
