1. Run WFW 3.11 by typing WIN from DOS prompt.
2. Click the 'Network' icon in the Main Program Group.
3. Click the 'Network Setup' icon from the Network Window.
4. Click the 'Drivers' button from the 'Network Setup' Dialog Box.
5. Click the 'Add Adapters' button from the 'Option' Dialog Box.
6. When the install driver field appears, select 'Unlisted or Updated
Network Adapter' item.
8. Insert this driver diskette into drive A:, type the path A:\WFW311.
9. Press <Enter> to start the installation processes.
10.When 'Winbond W89C840 PCI Ethernet Adapter' Dialog Box appears, press
<Enter>.
11.If more than one 840 card is installed on your computer, you can select
a specified 840 card by inputing an Ethernet ID.
Click the 'Setup' button from the 'Winbond W89C840 PCI Ethernet
Adapter'Dialog Box.
Select the 'Selected adapter's ID[if multi-840 used]' item.
Key in Ethernet ID.
Click the 'Setup' button.
12.Follow the screen instructions to complete the installation process.
13.Restart your computer.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
