Introduction:

This document shows you how to setup the driver and how to use the enhanced
functions by setting the custom keywords.
Location of Driver: \WIN2000\PNPNT.SYS
Contents of the Subdirectory:

PNPNT.SYS The WIN2000 driver
NETRTN.INF The installation information file.
Installation:
=============
Before starting with the installation process, make sure that the adapter
is properly installed and configured.
1.We recommend you to install the 'updated' driver from the distributing disk
by performing step 2 ~ 10.
2.Invoke the Device Manager. Right click the item
"Realtel RTL8019 LAN adapter or compatibler"
in the 'Network adapters' list, and choose Properties.
There will prompt the Realtel RTL8019 LAN adapter or compatible
Properties window.
3.Click the 'Driver' tag, and choose the 'Update Driver' button.
There wll prompt a Upgrade Device Driver Wizard window.
Click 'Next'.
4.The Wizard will ask you
What do you want the wizard to do?
Please choose
Display a list of the known drivers for this device so that I can choose
a specific driver.
Click 'Next', it will prompt a 'Select Network Adapter' window.
5.Insert the driver diskette
Click 'Have Disk'.
In 'Install From Disk' window, type the following path in the combo list:
a:\WIN2000
Click 'OK'.
6.Choose the
"Realtel RTL8019 LAN adapter or compatible"
in the 'Network Adapter' field.
Click 'Next'.
7.There will show
"Realtel RTL8019 LAN adapter or compatible"
in 'Start Device Driver Installation' window.
Click 'Next'.
8.There will prompts a Digital Signature Not Found window, please click 'Yes'
to continue the installation.Windows 2000 will copy the driver and system
files for the network.
9.Finish the 'Update Driver', and the updated driver will work for
RTL8019.
10.You will see
"Realtel RTL8019 LAN adapter or compatible"
in the 'Network adapters' list.
Note :
======
On the step4 , if you choose the "Search for a suitable driver for my
device[recommended]" , then the win2000 will install the internal driver
for your nic "Realtel RTL8019 LAN adapter or compatibler" .
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
