How to use AWDFLASH.EXE utility: This is a flash memory write/read utility. IMPORTANT NOTE: The AWDFLASH utility could not correctly run in windows (virtual 8086) MS-DOS mode. It must be proceeded with the following steps: 1.Create a bootable system floppy diskette by typing "FORMAT A:/S" from the dos prompt under DOS6.XX or WINDOWS9X environment. 2.Boot system with diskette. 3.Then run the AWDFLASH utility. Usage: AWDFLASH [BIOSfile1] [BIOSfile2] [/<sw>[/<sw>...]] BIOSfile1: New BIOS Name For FLASH Programming BIOSfile2: BIOS File For Backing-up the Original BIOS <command> function definition: /cc: clear CMOS; /cp: clear PnP; /cd: clear DMI. /sn: No Original BIOS Backup. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
