1) Introduction
===============

This small program fixes one known issue in version 7.1 of HP
Colorado Backup II. The known issue is:

Incorrect Prompt Appears During Disaster Recovery
-------------------------------------------------
   Symptom: When performing a Disaster Recovery from a bootable tape,
 	       the following prompt appears in error: "Please insert disk
               #2".
   Solution: Fixed by replacing the following files:
	       {program installation directory} \SYSTEM\dr_api.dll
	       {program installation directory} \SYSTEM\pconfig.dcf
   Workaround: If you encounter this problem during an OBDR restore, the
               process can still be recovered by performing the following
               steps:-
                  1) At the "Insert Disk" prompt mentioned, press
                     "Ctrl-C"
                  2) Type "Y" to the 'Terminate Batch Job (Y/N)' prompt
                  3) Type "cd drtempdv.002"
                  4) Type "splint.bat" and follow the on-screen
                     instructions.

2) Update Installation
======================

To install the update on to your computer, RUN the file setupex.exe and follow the instructions on your screen. Please ensure that Colorado Backup II is not running during this process. After the update is applied please recreate your disaster recovery backup tapes.
