Unattended Update Release Notes for Windows 2000 and XP32
=========================================================

Unattended Update Files:
BDRVUPD.EXE   - Update executable
RELEASE.TXT   - This text file

This update package performs post os unattended software updates under
Windows 2000 and XP32.

BDRVUPD.EXE can be invoked via command line options.
It upgrades the drivers silently by copying the files and updating the registry.
BDRVUPD.EXE, the INF file and the driver files must be placed in the same directory.
BDRVUPD.EXE is invoked as follows:

      BDRVUPD InfFileName ["HardwareId"]

where:

      InfFileName   = INF file name

      HardwareId = is a fully qualified PCI hardware Id for the
                      device to update.
                      E.g. PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1645&SUBSYS_000814E4&REV_15
                      This parameter is optional. If it is not
                      specified, all Broadcom network devices in the
                      INF file are updated.

Examples:

    To update all Broadcom network devices in the b57w2k.inf:

        BDRVUPD b57w2k.inf

    To update PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1645&SUBSYS_000814E4&REV_15 device:

        BDRVUPD b57w2k.inf "PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1645&SUBSYS_000814E4&REV_15"

BDRVUPD.EXE writes "Pass" or "Fail" to the "Unattended Update" value at registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Broadcom\b57w2k for Windows 2000.

BDRVUPD.EXE writes "Pass" or "Fail" to the "Unattended Update" value at registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Broadcom\b57xp32 for Windows XP32.
