 NetWare DOS ODI Workstation Driver Installation

Installation Procedure:
-----------------------
Before you start with the installation process, make sure that
the adapter is properly installed and configured. Make sure
that the your NetWare operating system is properly installed.

1. Run the following command in the order given below and
   press <Enter>:

   rem Please Add LASTDRIVE=M in config.sys
   CBOPEN
   LSL
   FASTNIC
   IPXODI
   NETX
   n:login

2. You can now log into the Novell server.

 INSTALLATION NOTE
 -----------------

 You can bind several frame types to the IPX protocol to support various
 configurations -- in the Link Driver ACCMLID section of the NET.CFG
 file.

 SAMPLE:

    Link Driver ACCMLID

    frame Ethernet_802.2
    frame Ethernet_802.3
    frame Ethernet_II
    frame Ethernet_snap

    protocol IPX E0 Ethernet_802.2

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
