README.TXT Driver File Contents (DMPCOLOR.EXE)

  DMP-204/-205/-206/-240/-250 Color Printer Drivers for DeskMate 
  (260-2883, 260-2904,260-2906, 260-2917, 260-2824 & 260-2886)

This driver enables the user to print from DeskMate versions 3.00,
3.02, and 3.03 (including color printing), using either the DMP 204,
DMP 205, DMP 206, DMP 240, and DMP 250 Printers.


NOTE:

   * DeskMate versions 3.04 and 3.05 already include the EPSON
     LQ2500/2550 Printer driver option. (All three printers --
     DMP 240/204/250 -- can emulate the EPSON LQ2500 and the DMP 250
     can emulate the EPSON LQ2550).

This disk contains the following files--

   README.TXT
   DMPDE.RES


In order to obtain a printout of this README.TXT file, insert this
disk in Drive A, make sure the printer is switched on, is on line,
and at the C:\> prompt, enter the following command--

   PRINT A:README.TXT

and press <Enter>.


INSTALLATION

1.  Start up your computer.

2.  Insert this diskette in Drive A.

3.  At the C:\> prompt, type in

       CD \DESKMATE

    and press <Enter>.

NOTE: In the above CD command, DESKMATE is the name of the DeskMate
      directory on your system. If the name of the DeskMate directory
      is not DESKMATE, substitute the appropriate name in the place
      of DESKMATE in this CD command line.

4.  Type in

    COPY A:DMPDE.RES

    and press <Enter>. The driver file from this disk is copied to
    the DeskMate directory on your hard drive.

5.  Go into DeskMate.

6.  At the Desktop, press <F10> to go to the accessory menu.

7.  Select Setup from this menu.

8.  Press <F2> for the Option Menu.

9.  Select Printer... to go to the Setup Printer Menu.

10. In the Printers list box, select OTHER.

11. Press <Tab> to move cursor to Driver name.

12. Type in DMPDE.RES.

13. From this point, select any other applicable settings.

14. Select OK to save the choice of the new printer driver.

15. Press <Esc> to return to the Desktop.
