DeskMate 3.0 or Higher Password Recovery Program for Home Organizer The password program enables the user to find out the password of a DeskMate Home Organizer data file. Using this program, the user can then retain the same password, change that password to something of his/her choice, or delete the password altogether. This disk contains the following files-- PASSWORD.EXE README.TXT In order to obtain a printout of this README.TXT file, insert this disk in Drive A, make sure your printer is switched on, is on line, and at the C:\> prompt, type in the following command-- PRINT A:README.TXT and press <Enter>. INSTALLATION 1. Start up your computer. 2. Insert this disk in Drive A. 3. At the C:\> prompt, type in CD \DESKMATE and press <Enter>. NOTE: In the above CD command, DESKMATE is the name of the DeskMate directory on your system. If the name of this directory is not DESKMATE, substitute the appropriate name in the place of DESKMATE in this CD command line. 4. Type in COPY A:PASSWORD.EXE and press <Enter>. This command copies the PASSWORD program to the DeskMate directory on your Hard Drive. 5. Type in PASSWORD and press <Enter>. 6. Press the down arrow key to move the cursor to the file whose password you wish to access, and press <Enter>. 7. At the New Password prompt-- (a) to retain the same password, press <Enter>. (b) to remove the current password, press the <*> key and <Enter>. (c) to change the current password, type in the new password and press <Enter>. Make a note of the new password. 8. Press <Esc> and <Y> to exit the password program. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
