  Cirrus Logic 5422/5424 Chip Set Updated Video Drivers Version 1.43

*** Requires A High Density Diskette ***

There are some application programs which require the use of these
updated video drivers. These drivers are for computers which have the 
Cirrus Logic 5422/5424 series of video chip sets. TANDY computers 
which have these video chip sets are the 2100 and the 3200.

In order to obtain a printout of this README.TXT file, insert this
disk in Drive A, make sure the printer is switched on, is on line,
and at the C:\> prompt, enter the following command--

   PRINT A:README.TXT

and press <Enter>.


INSTALLATION OF WINDOWS 3.1 VIDEO DRIVERS

1.  Start up your computer.          

2.  At the C:\> prompt, type 

       CD \WINDOWS
       
    and press <Enter>.

3.  Insert this disk in Drive A.

4.  At the C:\WINDOWS> prompt, type

       WIN

    and press <Enter>.

5.  Pull down the File menu and select Run.

6.  Type 

       A;\INSTALL
       
    and press <Enter>.  The files from this disk should now be installed 
    in the Windows directory. 

7.  Exit Windows. You should now be able to run the applications which
    required these updated drivers.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

• Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

• If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

• Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

• Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

• Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

• From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

• Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
