  VGM-150 Monitor Video Application Drivers (250-4090)

These drivers enable the user to switch the VGM-150
(Cat. No. 250-4090) monitor between the normal (half-page)
VGA mode and the full-page display.

In order to obtain a printout of this README.TXT file, insert this
disk in Drive A, make sure your printer is switched on, is on line,
and at the C:\> prompt, type in the following command--

   PRINT A:README.TXT

and press <Enter>.


INSTALLATION

1.  Start up your computer.

2.  Insert this disk in Drive A.

3.  At the C:\> prompt, type in

       A:

    and press <Enter>. The prompt A:\> should now be displayed
    on the screen.

4.  Type

       INSTALLH

    and press <Enter>.

5.  Respond accordingly to the prompts. This will modify the
    CONFIG.SYS file (in order for the VGM-150 to work in the
    full page mode) and installs the files from this disk to
    the hard drive.

6.  At the A;\> prompt, type in

       C:

    and press <Enter>. The prompt C:\> should now be displayed.


The READ.ME file on this disk contains information on using 
Windows 3.1 with the VGM-150 monitor in the full-page mode. In order
to obtain a printout of this READ.ME file, insert this disk in Drive A,
make sure your printer is switched on, is on line, and at the C:\>
prompt, type in the following command--

   PRINT A:READ.ME

and press <Enter>.

The manual for this monitor contains information on configuring a
variety of applications for full-page operation.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
