  Cordless Mouse Driver (250-2006) 

This driver enables the user to utilize the Cordless Mouse on an
IBM PC, XT, AT, 386, 486, or compatible computer with an RS-232
serial port.


This disk contains the following files--

   MOUSE.COM
   TEST.COM
   README.TXT


In order to obtain a printout of this README.TXT file, insert this
disk in Drive A, make sure your printer is switched on, is on line,
and at the C:\> prompt, type the following command--

   PRINT A:README.TXT

and press <Enter>.



INSTALLATION

1.  Charge the mouse fully (as outlined on Pages 3 and 4 in the 
    User's Guide for this mouse). A mouse is fully charged and
    ready to use in about 15 hours.

2.  Start up your computer.

3.  Insert this disk in Drive A.

4.  Type

       MD C:\MOUSE

    and press <Enter>.

5.  Type

       COPY A:\*.* C:\MOUSE

    and press <Enter>. This copies the files from the drivers disk to 
    a directory called MOUSE on the hard drive.

6.  Type
    
       CD \MOUSE
    
    and press <Enter>.

7.  At the C:\MOUSE> prompt, type

       TEST

    and press <Enter>. A screen appears which lets you test the mouse's
    movement and buttons. For further description of this screen, refer
    to pages 6 and 7 of the User's Guide under the topic TESTING THE
    INSTALLATION.


NOTE:
   *To remove the Cordless Mouse Driver from the computer's memory,
    at the C:\MOUSE> prompt, type

       MOUSE /O

    and press <Enter>.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
