Multimedia Audio Adapter System Disk (250-1085)
The software on this disk is used to detect system conflicts
and install the Multimedia Personal Computer (MPC) Drivers. This
is used when upgrading a standard personal computer into an MPC
capable of producing high-fidelity sound as well as animation.
This disk contains the following files--
EJ.COM MTMCDD.SYS MSCDEX.EXE CHECK.EXE
TCDP.EXE README.TXT
In order to obtain a printout of this README.TXT file, insert this
disk in Drive A, make sure that your printer is switched on, is on
line, and at the C:\> prompt, type the following command--
PRINT README.TXT
and press <Enter>.
INSTALLATION
1. Complete the hardware installation necessary to upgrade the
PC to an MPC as outlined in the Multimedia User's Guide.
2. Start up your computer.
3. If there is a directory called BIN on your hard drive, it
needs to be deleted. This is to avoid conflict with the
BIN directory which will be created when installing the
Multimedia drivers from this disk. At the C:\> prompt, type
DEL BIN
and press <Enter>. If BIN exists on your hard drive, the above
command deletes all the files in this directory. Then type
RD BIN
and press <Enter>. This command deletes the BIN directory.
If the BIN directory does not exist on the hard drive a message
"File not found" will be displayed.
4. Make sure that this drivers disk is not write-protected and
insert it in Drive A.
4. At the C:\> prompt, type
A:
and press <Enter>.
5. At the A:\> prompt, type
A:\CHECK
and press <Enter>. This checks the configuration of your system,
determines whether any hardware problems exist, and installs the
MPC drivers.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
