(1) Installation for Microsoft Network Client,

  1. Under Microsoft Network Client subdirectory c:\NET, run SETUP.

  2. Move highlight to "Change Network Configuration", the press ENTER.

  3. Select "Add Adapter", then press ENTER.

  4. Select "Network card not shown in list below..", then press ENTER.

  5. Insert the driver diskette in floppy A, and specify your
     pathname A:\MSLANMAN.DOS, then press ENTER.

  6. Select "100/10M Ethernet PCI Adapter", then press ENTER.

  7. Move highlight to "Network Configuration is correct" to finish the
     installation.



(2) Installation for Microsoft LAN Manager,

  1. Copy FEAND.NIF from your Driver diskette (A:\MSLANMAN.DOS) to Microsoft
     LAN Manager subdirectory C:\LANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS\NIF,
     Copy FEAND.DOS and PROTOCOL.INI from your Driver diskette
     (A:\MSLANMAN.DOS) to Microsoft LAN Manager subdirectory
     C:\MSLANMAN.DOS\DRIVERS\ETHERNET\FEAND.

  2. Under Microsoft LAN Manager subdirectory c:\MSLANMAN.DOS, run SETUP.

  3. Move highlight to "Configuration", the press ENTER.

  4. Select "Add New Config", the press ENTER.

  5. Select "100/10M Ethernet PCI Adapter", then press ENTER.

  6. Move highlight to "Network Configuration is correct" to finish the
     installation.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
