Thank you for purchasing the Accton EN2220A CardBus PC Card. Accton has done
everything to ensure that our adapters are compatible with the widest range
of notebook and laptop PCs possible. As a company, we are equally committed
to customer satisfaction and timely response to the needs and concerns of
our customers.

To use the Accton EN2220A Fast Ethernet CardBus PC Card, you must have
a notebook computer equipped with a CardBus controller and the
CardBus sockets. Many of the notebook computers on the market today
have PCMCIA sockets that accept 16-bit PCMCIA cards only. Even though
the PCMCIA card sockets and the CardBus sockets look the same on
the outside, the Accton EN2220A CardBus Card will not work in those
notebooks with only 16-bit PCMCIA card support.

A CardBus socket on a notebook computer can accept either the 32-bit
CardBus card or the 16-bit PCMCIA card. However, on some notebooks
the sockets are configured to work with only one type of cards at a
time. If the sockets in your notebook are configured to be in the
Intel 82365 compatible mode (i.e. 16-bit PCMCIA mode), you should run
the setup utility that comes with the notebook to change the mode to
32-bit CardBus mode.

1) Supported Environments
   ======================

With this release, the following environments are supported:

2) MS-DOS Card Enabling Utility - CBOPEN.EXE

to execute CBOPEN.EXE to enable the EN2220A first.

For Example, to execute the EN2220A Novell DOS ODI driver, EN5251.COM,
and to log on to a Novell server, you have to follow the next command
   sequence:

      CBOPEN
      LSL
      EN5251
      IPXODI
      VLM

For further details on how to use CBOPEN.EXE, please consult the
