====================================================================== Diamond Stealth II S220 Windows 95 Drivers with InControl Tools 95 ====================================================================== Release Notes ----------------- This is the Diamond Stealth II S220 Windows 95 Display Drivers with InControl Tools 95. This Driver resolves two Windows 98 Release Candidate 3 problems: 1. Problem hanging on the DOS box and during shutdowns. 2. Resolutions that showed up on the popup menu that were not supported by the monitor no longer appear. Installation Notes ------------------ These drivers require the latest version of DirectX 5 to support Direct Draw and Direct3D Applications. Known Limitations ------------------ 1. Some monitors may not display properly at 640x480 with 85H vertical refresh rate. If you experience problems with this mode, restart Windows 95 in Safe Mode and select an alternate desktop resolution. Then restart Windows and select 640x480 and 75Hz with the Refresh tab in Display Properties. This problem should be fixed with the next version of the Stealth II S220 display driver. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
