1. Shutdown the computer and plug the Asante FRN695/696 PCI Adapter into
the PCI slot.
2. After starting Windows ME, the "Asante Technologies, Inc.
FriendlyNET 695 10/100 PCI Adapter" will be detected automatically,
then the Add New Hardware Wizard window appears.
3. Insert the Asante FriendlyNET 695 10/100 PCI Adapter installation
diskette into drive A:
4. Select the "Automatic search for a better driver(Recommended)",
radio button, then click the "Next" button.
5. The Windows ME will start to search A: drive for network driver.
6. Type A:\WINME and click "OK" button.
7. Windows starts to copy the Asante FriendlyNET 695 10/100 PCI Adapter
driver to the user's hard disk.
8. Click "Finish" button when windows has finished installing the new
hardware device.
9. Restart your computer.

When you need to change the speed and duplex for FriendlyNET 695 PCI
Adapter.
The following step will help you to finish the setting.
1. Click on "Control Panel", then click on "Network".
2. Click on the "Asante Technologies, Inc. FriendlyNET 695 10/100 PCI
Adapter" selection.
Then, click on "Properties".
3. Choose "Advanced" page to setting "Network Media":

100BaseTX Full duplex
10BaseT
10BaseT Full duplex
Choose the setting as you needed.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
