Introduction:
=============
 This document shows you how to setup the driver and how to use the enhanced
 functions by setting the custom keywords.

  Location of Driver:     \NT40\AON325.SYS

Contents of the Subdirectory:
=============================
    AON325.SYS          The NDIS4 driver for Windows NT.
    AON325.HLP          The help file.
    OEMSETUP.INF        The setup information file.

Installation:
=============
  Before starting with the installation process, make sure that the adapter
  is properly installed and configured.

    1. Open "Control Panel" -> "Networks", and choose the "Adapter" Tag and
       click 'Add' button.
       The Select Network Adapter dialog box appears. Click 'Have Disk'.
    2. Insert the driver diskette into your floppy drive, and specify the
       path of the driver in the diskette(i.e. A:\NT40) and click 'OK'.
    3. In the Select OEM Option window,there will show a item that is:
           "AOpen AON-325 10/100M Fast Ethernet PCI Adapter",
       Click 'OK.
    4. NT 4.0 will ask you the connection type.Select the appropriate
       connection type (default is Auto-Negotiation).
    5. When the driver installation is completed, restart your PC.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
