User Defined Monitor Wizard Tips
-------------------------------------------

The Diamond Custom Monitor Wizard needs to know your monitor's capabilities.
The maximum horizontal refresh, vertical refresh, and resolution specifications
are often found in your monitor's owner's manual. Contact your monitor's
manufacturer if you cannot determine this information.

Custom Setup allows you to test only modes you select. To the left of the
mode is a check box, Clicking on the empty check box puts a '?' in the box
indicating a mode to be tested.

The +,- signs after a mode indicate the Sync Polarity of the mode.

If you experience problems switching modes, close the Diamond Multimedia
Wizard, and press CTRL-ALT-DEL. The Close Program will appear, End Task
on everything except Explorer and Systray.

Known Limitations
------------------------
When the Microsoft Office v.4.3 Office Manager splash screen appears, the
splash screen will be white instead of gray. Two gray blocks will also appear
in the upper left hand corner of Windows 95. The gray blocks will disappear
after the splash screen goes away.

A General Protection Fault may occur by running After Dark for Windows v.3.1.
Upgrading to After Dark v.3.2 will resolve this issue.

Using Microsoft's The Fox and The Bear application in 640x480 16bpp, the
display will not be correct. This problem is being investigated.

On the Stealth64 Video 3000 Series, in some virtual modes, some desktop noise
may appear while panning. This problem is being investigated.

With the Stealth SE, Stealth64 Graphics 2000 series, and the Stealth 64 VRAM,
with a high-color Desktop Theme from the Microsoft Plus! Pack selected, a
single pixel in the center of the screen will be missing. Use the GT-Alpha Drivers
available at ftp.diamondmm.com to correct this.

The following BIOSes have been tested with the Diamond GT display driver. Please
note that it is NOT necessary to have one of the BIOS versions listed below in
order to use these drivers. However, if you have an older BIOS and are encountering
difficulties, it is recommended that you contact Diamond Customer Service at
