(1) Utility and Directory

Readme.txt: This file.

Diag.exe: LAN diagnostic program in DOS.

Setup.exe: Driver setup utility for Windows 9x/ME/2000/XP.

Setup.txt: Readme file for setup.exe.

NWSERVER.60:
    Contains a server driver and LDI import file for loading into a
    NetWare 6.0 Server.

NWSERVER.5x:
    Contains a server driver and LDI import file for loading into a
    NetWare 5.0 Server.

NWSERVER.41X:
    Contains a server driver, LDI import file, and appropriate .NLMs
    for loading into a NetWare 4.1x Server.

NWSERVER.42:
    Contains a server driver, LDI import file, and appropriate .NLMs
    for loading into a NetWare 4.2 Server.

NWCLIENT:
    Contains DOS and OS/2 NetWare client drivers, a sample NET.CFG
    file, and a .INS NWCLIENT import file.

WinXP:
    NDIS 5 driver for Windows XP.

Win2000:
    NDIS 5 driver for Windows 2000.

WinME:
    NDIS 5 driver for Windows Millennium.

WIN98:
    NDIS 5 driver for Windows 98.

WIN95.SR2:
    NDIS 4 driver for Windows 95 OSR2.

WIN95:
    NDIS 3 driver for Windows 95.

WIN98LED:
    NDIS 5 driver for Windows 98. A software LED utility can be used
    to determine current speed and duplex mode.

NT40:
    NDIS 4 driver for Windows NT 4.0.

WFW311:
    NDIS 3 driver for Windows for Workgroups 3.11.

CLIENT32:
    ODI Driver for Novell Client32 in DOS/Windows 3.x and Windows 95.

NDIS2\DOS:
    DOS NDIS 2.x driver for non-LAN Manager installations. It can 
    support Microsoft client, Windows for workgroup 3.11 and IBM LAN
    Services v4.x.

NDIS2\OS2:
    OS/2 NDIS 2.x driver for OS/2 MPTS installations.

PKTDRV:
    DOS packet driver

MSLANMAN.DOS:
    Microsoft LAN Manager driver.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
