INSTALLING THE ODI DRIVER
-------------------------
Copy ALVAR43.COM and Net.cfg to your system.
Net.cfg contains information on the configuration
parameters including their valid ranges and default values.

Before running the ODI Driver the Card Access Driver
and the LSL Driver must be loaded.
This driver requires LSL version 2.11 or higher.

usage: AlVAR43.COM [switches]

     no parameter = loads the LAN Driver
     U = unload the LAN Driver
     S = shows resident LAN Drivers in memory
     ? = get this help information

Example: ALVAR43.com U unloads the ODI LAN Driver

RUNNING THE ODI DRIVER
----------------------
When the ODI Driver encounters an unknown keyword in configuration in
NET.CFG it will produce an error message, but load anyway. When a
configuration parameter is given an invalid value in NET.CFG an error
message will be given as well, but in this case the ODI Driver will not
load.
In case of problems with your customized NET.CFG, you are advised to fall
back to using the NET.CFG version as was provided on the diskette.

Example config.sys:
-------------------
DEVICE=C:\DOS\SETVER.EXE
DEVICE=C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS
DEVICE=C:\CAD\alvarcad.sys /I=5 /B=FC00 /M=D000
DOS=HIGH
