CorelDRAW® 10 Graphics Suite – Corel R.A.V.E.™ 1.0 Help file update (English version only)

Please note that this help file update is only needed if CorelDRAW® 10 Graphics Suite version 10.427 was installed from the original CD.  If you installed CorelDRAW® 10 Graphics Suite 10.410 and then installed Service Pack(s) to update to 10.427 (SP1) or 10.428 (SP2), this update is NOT needed.
 
If you are unsure as to whether this update is applicable to you, you can also verify by checking the properties of the following file using Windows Search.

If the corelrve.hlp has the following properties, this update is NOT necessary:     
File size:  1.66MBytes
Modified:  Friday, October 06, 2000

The update should be applied if the corelrve.hlp has these properties:
File size:  1.78 MB
Modified:   Tuesday, November 07, 2000


Installation Instructions 

This update is contained within a compressed ZIP file and therefore a ZIP extraction utility may be required.

After ensuring that Corel R.A.V.E.™ is not open, extract the corelrve.hlp file into the \Graphics10\Programs\ or equivalent folder.   You should be prompted to overwrite a file of the same name - choose Yes.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
