What does This Program do:
To update Firmware of 5-in-1 Card Reader/Writer of the following versions to support
Windows XP.
1. version 1.04.4e to version 1.05.4f
2. version 0.05.14 to version 0.08.4a
3. version 0.06.14 to version 0.08.4a
4. version 0.07.14 to version 0.08.4a
5. version 1.01.00 to version 1.05.4f

Why to update Firmware:
The 5-in-1 Card Reader/Writer with version 1.05.4f(0.08.4a) Firmware can work with
Windows XP and Windows ME using the O.S. default drivers. That is, user can easily use the
5-in-1 Card Reader/Writer with those two operating systems without bothering to provide
drivers.

How to use this program:
Step 0:
Remove ALL USB attached devices from your PC.
Step 1:
This program MUST work with Windows 98 second edition. Therefore you must find a PC
running Windows 98 second edition as operation system.
Step 2:
When you have a PC running Windows 98 second edition as operating system, extract
the zipped "u1crw98k.zip" to the desired directory to hold the update drivers of
5-in-1 card Reader/Writer for Windows 98 second edition.
Step 3:
After the un-zip process is completed, you will find a sub-directory "Win98_2k" in
the directory you specified in Step 2. Go into the "Win98_2k" sub-directory and
double click "setup.exe" to install the driver then follow the instructions to
complete the installation.
Step 4:
The system has been re-boot to complete the driver installation. Now, plug in the
5-in-1 Card Reader/Writer.
Step 5:
Double click to run "R40300Ff_V130.exe" to update the firmware and choose "Yes" to
confirm the update, then waiting for the completeness of the updating process.
Step 6:
Now, Simply plug in the 5-in-1 Card Reader/Writer to Windows XP(or Windows Me)
installed PC and you can use it.

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
